He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Kenneth Trimble, Robert Trimble, James Trimble, Gerald Trimble, Thomas Trimble and Gladys Chance.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn S. Trimble (Marie), Melinda Talley, Richard E. Trimble, Jr. (Patricia) and Mary Bernier (Dan). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard's honor, to the United Pentecostal Church of Portage.
