It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Henry Nichols (Veedersburg, Indiana), born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Lloyd and Evelyn Hannah Nichols (Stone); and his sisters, Thelma McKee, Donna Karshner, Kay Fuller and Delores Kelly.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou Nichols; his daughters, Lou Ann Hoagland (Buddy), Maryl Nichols Robinson, Jean Ellen Bowen (Robert) and Karen Lynelle Bowling; and his grandchildren, Lee Hoagland (Julia), Brian Hoagland (Adrienne), Audra Armstrong (Aaron), Alexis Negron (David), Rachel Robinson (Kayl), Thomas Robinson (Erin), Natalie Robinson, Jalyn Bowen, Maggie Bowen, Neil Bowen, Kenan Bowling (Anna) and Vanessa Bowling.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Legion Post#288, Sterling Christian Church, or United Methodist Church, all in Veedersburg.
