He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Powers and Beulah Powers (Wainscott); his wife Jerrie A. Powers (Scranton); his granddaughter Danielle Nicole Powers; his siblings, Carl William, Omer Stewart Powers and Georgia Marie Powell-McDole; his daughter-in-law Annetta "Bernice" Powers (Kee); and his stepgrandson Douglas Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Powers of Markland, IN, Albert O. Powers, Jr. (Angela) of Vevay, IN, Dennis Powers of Bloomington, IN, Mark Powers (Patty) of Madison, IN and Michael Powers (Kandy) of Moorefield, IN; his grandchildren, Ashley Powers, Emily Lovins (Troy), Kim Kent, Kathy Kent (Shaunte McCool-Kent), Robert Gilbert, Braxton Powers (Sammy), Coltin Powers (Katie), Amber Powers, Andrew Powers and Courtney Powers; his great grandchildren, Harlan, Woodrow and Reba; his sisters, Lulu Belle Thomas (Donald) of Patriot, IN and Ruby Delores Rowlett of Madison, IN; and his friend Mardell Pike of Vevay, IN.. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
