He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McCord and Beatrice McCord; his wife Helen McCord; his son-in-law Leon Gill; his siblings, Rick McCord, Donna Lane (Walter), Joellen Benken and Betty Fields; and his brother-in-law Tom Froeschke.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Gill, Sherry Williams (Ron) and Sam McCord (Tracy); his grandchildren, Amy Jeffers (Jason), Brianna Williams, McKinsey Anderson (Alarik) and Morgan Hockensmith (Luke); his great grandchildren, Noel, Kennedy Jeffers, Raelynn, Mason Williams, Saylah Anderson and Maylee Hockensmith; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie McCord, Jim Benken and Jack McCarter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vincennes Funeral Home (524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
