He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Arthur Catt Sr. and Clara Louise Catt (Swettenam); his sister Gayle Hewitt; his wife Theresa (Tolliver); his children, Leah Barmes (Trevor) of Denver, Colorado and Michael Catt (Margie) of Vincennes, Indiana; and his grandsons, Ethan, William, John Timothy and Owen.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Knox County Humane Society or the Vincennes Lincoln Athletic Booster Club.
