It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alene France of Wabash, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Alene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Alene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Collier and Flossie Collier (Jones); her husband Rex A. France; and her brothers, George Collier, James Collier and Robert Collier.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry France (Cathy) of Wabash, Jeffery France (Mary) of Wabash and Jason France (Amelia) of Wabash, Indiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wabash Chapel (231 Falls Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Homes (231 Falls Ave, Wabash, IN 46992).
