He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton "Tony" Luigs and Martha L. Luigs (Spahn). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Luigs (Davis); his children, April McGarrh (Joseph), Tony Luigs (Kari), Eric Luigs (Nicole), Kevin Luigs (Michele) and Alan Luigs (Meghan); his grandchildren, Rachel, Amanda, Isaac, Anna, Noah, Easton, Mallory, Reese, Levi, Luke and Gracelyn; and his sisters, Rita Hasenour (Bill) and JoAnn Ziliak (Tom).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (5301 New Harmony Rd, Evansville, IN 47720-1775). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
