She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Heckaman and Helen Heckaman (Wells); her husband James Christophel; and her siblings, Arthur Heckaman, Glenn Heckaman, Mardell Berger and Shirley Andrews.
She is survived by: her sons, Sanford Christophel (Karen) of Pottstown, PA, James Christophel (Sharon), Carl Christophel (Marilyn), Kirk Christophel (Mary Ann) and Worton, MD; and her sisters, Loraine Marburger (Ed) and Janet Lemler (Melvin). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
