She is survived by: her sons, James Battles of Crown Point and Gary Battles (Elaine) of Mishawaka; and her grandchildren, Kathy Minix (Kelvin), Kandy Schumacher (Philip), Karen Rees (Mark), Julie Schmidt (Kevin), Jennifer Hansen (Mark), Andrew Battles (Shana) and Amy Hayes (Colton).

Memorial donations are suggested to the Center for Hospice of Elkhart County, 22579 Old U.S. 20, Elkhart, IN 46516.
