He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth G. Mason and Ruth G. Mason (Moser); his siblings, Charles Mason, Gordon Mason, Betty Clipp, Ruth Carol LaBello and Norma Rapp; and his brother-in-law Larry Penrod.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mason (Penrod); his children, Julia Miller (Jim), Wyatt, Crystal Marvel, James Philip Mason (Sheri), Jimtown, Jo Ellen Gall (Drex), John Mason and Jane Haas (Ron); his grandchildren, Christina Paul (Jeff), Chuck Kinnison (Rebecca), Michael Mason (Melissa), Heather Marvel, Austin Gall and Jessica Gall; and his siblings, Mary Reed, Roger Mason (Stella), Warren Mason, Richard Mason, Nancy Barrier and Nina Tom. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson.
