He is survived by: his wife Sandra Schmidt (Kroeker); his daughters, Larissa Hunsberger of Lincoln, Neb and Catherine Krehbiel (Jeff); his grandchildren, Erica and Ian Hunsberger; his siblings, Allen Schmidt (Mary) and Fyrne Schlenker (Robert); and his sister-in-law Diena Schmidt of Henderson, Nebraska..
