With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Merkel (Walkerton, Indiana), who passed away on August 19, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Merkel (Geesaman); his sons, Dale (Jean Scott) of Columbus and Jerry (Judy Fife) of West Lafayette; his grandchildren, Dustin Merkel of Columbus, Emily Merkel of Raleigh, NC, Anna Merkel of West Lafayette and Julian Fife (Alisha Yanner) of West Lafayette; his great grandchildren, Nagisa Fife of West Lafayette and Mirajane Fife of West Lafayette; and his sisters, Kathy Christopher (Dale) of Walkerton and Nancy Brennan of Spring.
