Lola J. Schroeder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lola J. Schroeder of Walkerton, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lola J. Schroeder to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Sutter and Lillian Sutter Steinhilber (Martin); her husband Harold A. Schroeder; her son Chuck Schnekenburger; her sisters, Donna Strong, Marjorie Tomerlin and Myrna Noel; and her son-in-law Ted Hofferth.
She is survived by: her children, Teri Whittington (Garry), Kathy Cummings (Greg), Karin Hinton (Gary), Leigh Ann Hofferth (Doug), Susan Cooley (Don), Sally Krenke and Tom Schroeder (Becky); her daughter-in-law Joanne Schnekenburger; and her brother Will Sutter (Chris). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and another on the way; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kosanke Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Kouts, IN 46347). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (507 S Rose Ave, Kouts, IN 46347). A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery (507 S Rose Ave, Kouts, IN 46347).
