It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dick Schroeder of Wanatah, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry L. Schroeder and Kathryn Schroeder (Peeler); his siblings, Harold, Bob and Janet Clark; and his parents-in-law, Michael and Joan Derek.

He is survived by : his spouse Jean Derek; his brother-in-law Mark Derek (Nadine) of Lakes; his nieces, Christine Kasmark (Chauncey) and Katie Derek; his great-nephew Clay Kasmark; his great-niece Charlotte Kasmark; and his siblings, Paul (Sharon) of Koontz Lake, Ruth Gonlag of South Carolina and Kay Baum (Harry) of Missouri.
