He is survived by: his son Skylar of Waterloo; his mother Todd Sommers; his stepfather Bonnie Sommers of Auburn; his siblings, Ryan (Jennifer) of Kendallville, Jason (Jennifer) of Auburn and Tiffany of Auburn; his siblings' children, Logan, Noah, Tatum, Kinley and Luca; his father Curtis Lockhart; and his grandmother Thelma Tumidanski.

Any gifts or donations would be put toward the family's expenses for his funeral.
