He was predeceased by: his spouse Rodena Mauldin; his daughter Karen Jarvis; and his sisters, Linda Adams and Garnett Whitaker. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Fakes of Kirkland; his sons-in-law, Tom Fakes of Kirkland and Chris Jarvis of Duvall; his grandchildren, Zakery Jarvis of Duvall and Lexi Jarvis of Duvall; his significant other Dorothy Murray of Waterloo; his siblings, Claudia Barton of Pierceton, Michael Whitaker of Warsaw and Arlene Barton (Jim) of Dowagiac; and his brother-in-law Jim Hollen of Warsaw.
