He was predeceased by: his brothers, John "Otto" Krontz and David Krontz. He is survived by: his spouse Betty A. "Peanut" Maugherman; his children, Mark Krontz of Auburn, Sara Warner (Drew) of Auburn and Tim Krontz of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Alisa Krontz and Allisyn Warner; his sisters, Connie Brown of Auburn and Patty Brand (Jim) of Waterloo; his stepmother Marie Krontz; and his stepsisters, Erlene Yentes of Auburn and Virgie Wells (Joe) of Corunna.
