He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Grill and Cora Alice (Radabaugh); his stepfather Avery Lemmon; his spouse Joan Roberta Forrest; his daughter Rebecca Cook-Meyer; his son-in-law Timothy Cook; his grandson Nathan Grill; and his siblings, Herschel Grill, Arden Grill, John Grill and Charlotte Fee.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Grill (Bobbi) of Hamilton, Jon Grill (Debra) of Duck Key and Tom Grill (Jamie Lausier) of Oxford; his son-in-law Jim Meyer (Dianne); his grandchildren, Amy Grill, Ann Miller (Josh), Dan Grill (Katie), Emily Surowitz (Josh), Eric Grill (Michelle), Paul Cook and Will Cook (Shacina); and his sister-in-law Doris Grill of Angola.
