He was predeceased by: his stepchild Debbie Maser; his grandchildren, Joshua Gangwer and Adam Gangwer; his sister Ruth Lawson; and his friend Norma M. Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Schroeder (Jean) of Holland, MI, Debra Ball (Gary), David Schroeder (Marg), Melissa Gangwer, Robin Elliot (Bob) and Belinda Hawn (Vern); his stepchildren, Beverley Walda, Loretta (Hershel), Anita Herr (David), Roanoke, Jay Engle (Becky), van, Marlena Fox (Glen), Albert Engle and Lebanon; and his sister Grace Handy of Payson, AZ.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren.
