She was predeceased by: her father Gene Mikels; her stepfather Theron Cronk; and her stepbrother Shawn Cronk. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Runion Mikels Cronk; her son Gary Starnes, Jr.; her brother Dennis Mikels; her stepsiblings, Mark Cronk and Melissa VanCleave; her aunt Linda Dale; and her uncle David Runion.
