He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd, Martha Eads and Irene Williams. He is survived by: his parents, Lloyd "Buck" and Joan "Joanie" Eads (Dale); his daughter Sharon Lou Bradley (Jamie); his grandchildren, Christopher and Katelyn; his siblings, Terry Johnson (Ron) and Brad Eads (Laurie); his aunts, Claressa Perry and Carolyn Wright; and his friend Betty Bushong.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Prairie Creek Baptist Church.
