He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold V. Dalton and Ella T. Dalton (Gardner); his son Kenny Dalton; and his brothers, Rex and Forrest Dalton.

He is survived by : his children, Rachel Dalton-Sutopo of Terre Haute and Clyde Dalton Jr.; and his brother Wayne Dalton of Paoli Several. He is also survived by Several Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
