It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Coots of West Baden Springs, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis M. Coots and Effie Mae Plummer Coots; and his sisters, Mari Coots and Carole Mallott. He is survived by : his children, Brandi McCarney (James) of Utica, Sean Coots (Angelita) of Campbellsburg, Amanda Schmitt (Barry) of Temecula, Jacob Coots (Gustavo) of Richmond, Virginia, Emily Coots and Erica Coots of Paoli; and his siblings, Murl Coots of Salem, Roy Coots of Henryville, Kaye Gray of Henryville and Terry Lee Snelling of Salem. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
