It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Byers (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bartak and Bernice Bartak. She is survived by: her daughter Kendra Corryne (Christopher) of Ponte Vedra, FL.; her husband Don; her daughter Karma Deady (Chad) of Noblesville, IN; her grandchildren, Nolan Matthew Deady, Colton Steven Shaw and Kamlyn Ruby Shaw; and her sisters, Lynda Young (Arthur) of Cape Coral, FL, Elaine Thompson (Mike) of Niles, MI and Cindi Holland of Osceola, IN..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Kathie's memory.
