She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bernice and Harley McDonald; her daughter Susan Dust; and her grandson Christopher Dust. She is survived by: her significant other Gilbert Lee Elliott; her children, Michael Mattox (Shelley), Karen Mattox Orndorff (Jeff) and Debra Mattox Busenburg (Mike); her stepson Gilbert Elliott; her grandchildren, Brian, Zach, Jack, Cody, Amanda and Zoe; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Wyatt, Bo, Lexi, Melody, Aydon, Piper, Kya and Shane; her great great grandchildren, Landon and Jackson; and her brothers, James O. McDonald and Harley Edward McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Elara Hospice or Emmanuel United Methodist Church in West Terre Haute, in Betty Bea's memory.
