He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Myers and Geraldine B. Kneeland Myers; and his sisters, Jeri Myers Taylor and Teri Myers Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Reckerd Myers; his children, Jill Schopmeyer (Marlin), David Myers (Travella) and Darrin Myers (Trina); his stepchildren, Kevin Mitchell and Jenny Mitchell (Kin); his grandchildren, Jordynn Scott, Paiden Myers, Gavin Myers, Carter Myers, Lauryn Myers, Jaylynn Scott and Reilly Myers; his stepgrandchildren, Jacklin Kirby, Zacharie Mitchell, Tristan Mitchell and Hadlee Mitchell; and his siblings, Keri Myers, James Myers (Susie), Dori Myers and Jodi Myers-Harmon (Rob). He is also survived by two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cory Volunteer Fire Department or the Terre Haute Humane Shelter, in David's memory.
