With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leona Mae Schoffstall of West Terre Haute, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Joseph Peters and Myrtle Belle Wheatstine Peters; her husband Jack Schoffstall, Sr.; her son Roland Schoffstall; her children-in-law, Edward Buchanan, Jerry Poppe and Stella Schoffstall; her grandsons, Jerry Poppe, Jr. and Matthew Buchanan; and her great grandchild Dylan Pannell.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Buchanan, Marilyn Buchanan (Don), Marsha Poppe (Herman), Jacqueline Poppe, David Schoffstall (Linda) of Ashburn, Paul Schoffstall (Sandy) and Jack Schoffstall (Judy) of Terre Haute; and her sister Virginia Shattuck. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Assembly of God Church, West Terre Haute.
