It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Harry Diekhoff of Westport, Indiana, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Diekhoff and Lenora R. Diekhoff (Zapfe); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Kristine Kramer and Alex Veerkamp; and his siblings, Rose Ann Schwering, Walter Diekhoff and Francis Diekhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice M. Volk; his children, Marcia Kramer (Phil) of Greensburg, Michelle Veerkamp of Greenfield, Michael Diekhoff of West Virginia, Mark Diekhoff (LeeAnn) of Greensburg and Matthew Diekhoff (Jennifer) of Westport; his siblings, Esther Hill (Eddie) of Russiaville, Helen Kramer of Greensburg, Arthur Diekhoff (Ann) of North Vernon, Maurice Diekhoff (Barbara) of Columbus, Lawrence Diekhoff of North Vernon and Bernard Diekhoff of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Vanessa Veerkamp, Grant Veerkamp, Macy Diekhoff, Drew Diekhoff, Luke Diekhoff, Austin Diekhoff, Landon Diekhoff, Jordan Kramer and Jaxson Kramer; and his great grandchild Daylin James Diekhoff.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen through the funeral home.
