He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbin Callahan and Raney Callahan (Stacy); his wife Mary Kathy Powers; and his siblings, Vada Tucker, Emily Brancamp and Leonard Callahan.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Thompson (Greg) of Indianapolis, Rick Callahan (Valeria) of Edinburgh and Tim Callahan (Robin Carmer) of North Vernon; and his siblings, Rose Pratt of Viper, Rachel Moffett (Ronnie) of Greensburg, Berniece Vanderpohl (Tom) of Laurel, Johnnie Callahan (Ellen) of Westport, James Callahan (Bertha) of North Vernon, Isaac Callahan (Bonnie) of Westport, Harold Callahan of Westport and Coolie Callahan (Joyce) of Missouri. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
