He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Bokelman and Lois Bokelman (Barnes); and his siblings, Ron Bokelman, Robert Bokelman and Jane Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Kelli Smith (Patrick) of Columbus and Eric Bokelman of Westport; his siblings, Clara Bewley (Ed) of Greensburg, Shirley Meyer of Greensburg, Deb Mart of Ellettsville, Jim Bokelman of Greensburg and John Bokelman of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Austin, Abby, Parker and Cooper Smith; and his parents-in-law, Janice, Larry Campbell, Bonnie Dixon, Teresa, Warren Cooper, Ann Tomlinson and Paul Tomlinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indy Honor Flight or the Bear Creek Cemetery through the funeral home.
