He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Stephanie Hendricks (Chris) of Tennessee, Bradley Holzhausen (Melissa) of Whiteland and Scott Holzhausen of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Amanda Hendricks-Dixon (Mike) of Indianapolis, Amy Barkdull (Heath) of Brownsburg, Jake Holzhausen, Tabaitha Holzhausen, Johnnie Holzhausen, Ashlynn Holzhausen (Franklin) and Taniqua Schadenfroh (Tommy) of Franklin.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Second Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
