He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Daniel and Diana Virgie Parrish (Ritchie); his sons, John and Jesse Parrish, Jr; and his siblings, Herman Ray, Robert Jerry, Bill Odell, Larry Joe Parrish and Helen Ruth Richardson.

He is survived by : his former life partner Maxine Dykes; his wife Janet Brown; his children, Robert Parrish and Patricia Lawler of Zellwood, FL; and his siblings, Charles Daniel Parrish (Dottie) of Dexter, MO, Terry Lynn Parrish, Freda May Huddleston of Bloomfield, MO, Betty Lou Jordan, Batchelor, Connie Carol Albert and Linden.
