He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Hoelscher and Mary Hoelscher (Greishop); his sons, David and James Hoelscher; and his siblings, Richard, Victor, John Hoelscher, Mildred Frilling, Teckla Hoying, Julia Pleiman and Patricia Romer.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Hoelscher (Kersey); his sons, William Hoelscher (Patty) and Thomas Hoelscher; his stepchildren, Darrell Foerg and Laura Piercy (Boyd); his grandchildren, Cameron, Bailey, Lucas Hoelscher, Roxie, Dakota, Brogan Foerg, Ely and Elisabeth Piercy; his sisters, Theresa Plieman, Rosalee Holdheide (Paul), Margaret Snider (James) and Joyce Liette; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Hoelscher, Linda Schwegman (Robert) and Joe Romer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Winamac Chapel (110 N Sally Dr, Winamac, IN 46996). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church (128 Church St, Osgood, OH 45351).
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac, St. John's Catholic Church in Tipton or St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Osgood Ohio.
