He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose Mae Hemmingsen (Hurley) and George Edward Hemmingsen. He is survived by : his mother-in-law Evelyn Mae Karns; his wife Evelyn Mae Hemmingsen; his children, Doug (Tammy), Sandi (Ken), Southerland (Kansas), Cheryl (Ken), Pearson, Linda (David) and Goshert; and his siblings, Cleve (Bobbie) and Geraldine Young. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren.
