It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bettie J. She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Bird and Lucille Bird (Patterson); her husband Marvin D. Bookout; her brother David Bird; her parents-in-law, Lois Wanda Bookout and Marvin Bookout; and her brother-in-law Carl Long.

She is survived by : her sons, Jim Bookout (Lucy), Tim Bookout (Ginger), Michael Bookout (Mary) and Jeffrey Bookout (Rhonda); and her siblings, Phil Bird (Pat), Virgil "Butch" Bird and Doris Long. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required as well as social distancing.
