With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Thompson (Yorktown, Indiana), born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Thompson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. Thompson and Mary Elizabeth Thompson (Whalen); and his siblings, Jack, Bill, Maury, Don, Al Thompson, Mary Elizabeth Wardle and Margaret "Peg" Saunders.

He is survived by : his wife JoAnn E. Thompson (Howells); and his children, Kathleen Thompson, James Thompson (Deb), William Thompson, Michael Thompson (Tena) and Kelli Thompson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
