She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Oliver and Lettie Corinne Smelser; her husband Harold Gene Neal; her son Dr. H. Allen Neal; and her granddaughter Christy Lea Whittemore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Gale (Jerry) and Marsha Brunett (Jeff); her daughter-in-law Sandy Neal; her grandchildren, Autumn Lewandowski (Ben), Taylor Neal (Jen), Allison Neal, Jason Whittemore (Christine), Amber Swinehart (Jody), Elizabeth Li (Kevin), Anna Farmer (Matthew), Luke Brunett and Andrew Brunett (Hannah); and her sisters, Rema Louise Whitaker and Joan Burt. She is also survived by 11 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
