He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cornelius "C. C." and Helen Wedel (Ratzloff); his spouse Violet L. Schmidt; his children, Dawn Wedel of Scottsdale, Pam Adema (George) of Castle Rock, CO and Loyal of Tampa; his grandchildren, Grayson Wedel of Cave Creek and Christie Adema of Brooklyn, NY.; and his siblings, Glenn Wedel, Harry Wedel and Laverna Redger.
