He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Klein and Anna Klein (Zabel); and his sister Luella Coup. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Riffel; his daughters, Danielle Klein of Jacksonville and Michelle Karcher (Shane) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Robert D. Sweet II, Remy Sweet, Kale Ford, Dylan Ford, Alex Karcher and Kaylee Karcher; his great grandchild Tilly; and his siblings, Albert Ray "Bud" Klein and Margie Carpenter.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Emmanuel Church.
