With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Whitehair (Abilene, Kansas), who passed away on May 8, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Clapp and Rachel Kennard Clapp; her husband Wayne Whitehair; her daughter Lou Ann Karl; and her siblings, Flossie and Orville.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Whitehair (Janet) of Abilene, Lynne Murphy (Kevin) of Hope, Dan Whitehair (DeLynne) of Abilene, Leah Hern (Randy) of Abilene and Lennis Hasenbank (Randy) of North Liberty, Iowa; her son-in-law Larry Karl of Abilene; her grandchildren, Kristin Whitehair (Levi Bowles), Megan McDugald (Jim), Kyle Murphy (Kirsten Zenner), Dane Murphy, Jenna Bentrop (Brian), Evan Karl (Nicole), Rachelle Sims (Kyle), Nick Whitehair, Sarah Sulanka (Eric), Tony Whitehair (Christy), Kendra Jenkins (Charlie Spann) and Kayla Kinser (Kyle); and her sister-in-law Mae Whitehair of Abilene.
