She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. Murphy and Christie M. Murphy (John); her spouse Deward H. Rector; and her siblings, William "Bill" Murphy, Melvin L. Murphy, Dolly A. Rediker and Mary L. Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Minter of Phoenix and Marcia Wilson (Greg) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Megan Winter (Nathan), Emily Wilcox (Casey), Courtney Goin (Jason), Hannah Uhart (Jon) and Hillary Kersten (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Hudson, Luke, Jason, Weston, Fox, Wilson and Emerson.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church or Old Abilene Town.
