She is survived by: her son Kyler (Cole Applehans); her mother Connie Karsmizki; her stepfather Rob; her father Ron Rein; her stepmother Debbie; her brothers, Matthew Rein (Nina Gerken) and Brandon Rein (Sara Gammon); her aunts and uncles, Verlyn Rein (Pam), Curtis Rein (Sandy), Roger Hein (Dixie), Don Hein (Petra), Mike Hein (Dustine), Judy Brown (Ron), JoAnn Trenary (Gene), Carla Stanley (George) and Vicki Gieber (Steve); and her stepsiblings, Jared Karsmizki, Tracy Copenhaver (Allison) and Tabetha Wenger.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Erika Lynn Mills Memorial Fund for Kyler Mills' Education Fund.
