He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, DeWitt Walker and Clora Walker (Amos); his children, Russell Walker of Nebraska, Randall Walker of Hope, Ronald Walker of Florida, Valerie Keller of Kansas City and Trudy Renner of Wichita; his close friend Deanna Whitehair; his wife Glendyll Walker; and his grandson Rusty Walker.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Abilene Historical Society or the Abilene Food Pantry.
