Lottie Tanksley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lottie Tanksley (Abilene, Kansas), who passed away on August 29, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Paul and Mary Schermerhorn (Throckmorton); her husband Carl G. Tanksley; and her brothers, Frank and Clarence Schermerhorn.
She is survived by: her children, David Tanksley (Shelly) of Whitney, Esther Hilde (Jeff) of Martinsburg and Joy Maas (Dennis) of Enterprise; and her siblings, Lawrence Schermerhorn of Chase City and Mary Hodges of Henrico. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Hospice of Dickinson County or to 3ABN (Three Angel's Broadcasting Network).
