He was predeceased by: his parents, Covel Helms and Frances Helms (Cummings); his wife Carol Helms; and his sister Sharon Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Chrissy Fink (Chad) of Abilene, Kansas, Cathy Hansen (Billy) of Abilene, Kansas and Jacoby Andrews; his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Chesney, Drew, Cash and Blake; his sisters, Linda Schermerhorn (Robert), Karon Gann, Beverly Wattenberger (Robert), Evelyn Banks (Lynn), Debbie Kemmer (Chuck) and Brenda Lee (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Chamberlain (Mark) and Roy Andrews (Lorie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
