He is survived by : his son Jim Herren; his former life partner Sandra V Yount Knight; his wife Maurine Neal Post; his daughter Crystal Herren (Breese); his stepchildren, Jeff Knight, Carrie Knight (Arnold), Kelly Knight (Marshall), Michael Post and Lee Post; his grandchildren, Alan Brown, Colby Herren, Dalton Herren, Braden Herren, Jaycee Breese (Burns), McKayla Breese, Scott Post, Ben Post, Whitney Post (Stratton), Kristy Neff, Todd Hedberg, Colby Schaar, Britney Schaar, Devin Schaar, Cole Arnold, Chase Arnold and Jacob Marshall; his great grandchildren, Luke Breese, Elizabeth Brown, Margaux Stratton, Ike Stratton, Trip Stratton, Trinity Stratton, Sean Neff, Meka Neff, Sklyee Ethridge, Jeslynn Hedberg and Ella Schaar; and his siblings, Charlie Herren of Alma, KS and Elizabeth Herren (Frank) of Topeka, KS..
