She was predeceased by: her parents, William Delaney and Blanche Delaney (Wood); and her siblings, Ardis Lewis, Doris Mitchell and Merwin VanWormer.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Lachniet; her children, Mark Lachniet (Jan), Lori Curtis (Rocky), Beth Reese (Bob), Brent Lachniet (Brenda), Machel Allen (Tim), Todd Lachniet, Darci Lemmon (Darren), Gina Wohlford (John) and Kalee Olmstead (Adam); and her sisters, Rosemary Horton and Colleen Lovett. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maureen's memory to The Gideons (International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251) or to Victory in the Valley, (a cancer support program).
