She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Dale Wilson and Mildred Beatrice Wilson (Johnson); her husband James Leo LaPlant; her siblings, Tommy Wilson and Daleyne Earnest; her daughter Janise Daley; her son-in-law Bush; and her grandson Corey Jenks.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Jo Bush and Jimmy LaPlant (Susan); her sister Mary Wolf; and her grandchildren, Loren Nelson, Nikk Nelson, Billy Joe Foss, Leonard Foss, CJ LaPlant and Amanda Bauer. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials in memory of Dee may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
