She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl B. "Jack" and Alice Rose Dressler (McColloch); her brother Jack Dressler; and her daughter Dr. Deborah Barber-Axthelm. She is survived by: her husband Richard P. Barber; her children, Chester, Chet Barber (Carol) and Marjorie Bremer (DJ); her grandchildren, Dr. Isaac Barber-Axthelm (Valerie), Aaron Barber-Axthelm (Trisha), Stephanie Rausch (Lee), Brenden Osborn (Dianna) and Bryce Osborn; her great grandchildren, Seth Rausch, Skyler Rausch, Bryson Osborn, Arron Osborn and Katie Osborn; and her great great grandchild Bayleigh Rausch. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Memorials in memory of Jeannie may be made to Obadiah's Pantry or the Kansas Humane Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
