Walter Younker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Younker of Antonino, Kansas, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Younker and Agnes Younker (Spies); his siblings, Lucille Staab, Catherine Schmidt, Florine Sanders and Clarence Younker; and his great grandchildren, Lakin Younker and Olivia Mayans.
He is survived by : his wife Mary (Dinkel); his children, David Younker of Hays, KS, Dale Younker (Paula), Dianne DeGood (Alan) and Donna Myers (Patrick); his sister Twila Griffin of Weatherford, OK; his sister-in-law Rita Younker of Plainville, KS; his grandchildren, Kerrie Mayans (Jason), Melissa Opbroek (Aaron), Brandy Leon (Nick), Julia Myers, Brad Younker (Jessica) and Brian Younker (Carmon); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Mayans, Madeline Mayans, Cecilia Mayans, Charlotte Mayans, Carlie Younker, Camryn Younker, Leyah Younker, Lyndi Younker, Cadynce Leon, McKenna Leon, Alex Mayans, Carter Opbroek and Paxton Leon.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Our Lady Help of Christians Church or Via Christi Village Care Center in care of the mortuary.
